Website & guided enquiry

2 minute read

Woodlands Nomads

From the feeling of life on the road to the details of a custom build. A tactile website and guided enquiry for a Perth van-conversion studio.

Website & guided enquiry

The brief

Start with the life it makes possible.

A van conversion is a collection of practical decisions wrapped around a very personal idea of freedom. Woodlands Nomads needed a website that could hold both: the excitement of getting away and the detail of making a small space work.

We shaped the experience around a visitor’s questions. What can be built? How will the space feel? What does the workshop need to know? Inspiration leads naturally into services and a more useful first enquiry.

  • Balance aspiration with practical detail
  • Make the craft visible
  • Turn preferences into a useful brief
  • Connect inspiration to services and enquiry

Art direction

Let the materials tell the story.

Warm timber, soft daylight and close views of joinery bring a sense of care to the page. Interior imagery shows how beds, kitchens and storage can share a compact footprint without making the space feel crowded.

The creative direction is intentionally tactile. Large images sit alongside concise explanations, giving people room to imagine their own routines inside the van.

The experience

A small space. Many possibilities.

Services are organised into understandable parts: cabinetry, kitchens, electrical systems, water and flexible furniture. Each gives the visitor a way to describe what matters to their own travel plans.

The content connects the visible finish with the systems behind it. A kitchen is also water storage, access and daily use; a bed is also a question of space and flexibility. That context supports a more informed conversation.

  • Explain systems in everyday language
  • Show flexible layouts
  • Keep enquiry within reach
  • Connect finishes with the systems behind them

The journey

From inspiration to a working brief.

The guided enquiry introduces decisions in a manageable order, helping visitors communicate their priorities before a call. Travel needs, preferred features and project context become a shared starting point.

This gives the website a practical role beyond presentation. It connects the visitor’s expectations with the workshop’s need for clear scope, while leaving the final solution open to specialist advice.

The foundation

Built to keep the conversation moving.

Content management and an enquiry workspace connect the public website to the people responding. Information from the first interaction remains useful as a project moves into a more detailed discussion.

The foundation supports a growing portfolio of work, clearer service explanations and ongoing refinement of the enquiry flow. The same attention given to the public story carries through to the business behind it.

  • Editable project and service content
  • A consistent enquiry handoff
  • Room to grow the portfolio
  • Refine the enquiry flow over time

The result

A clearer connection between the van someone imagines and the brief a workshop can work with.

Good work starts with the right conversation.
